Yay!! You make me feel like I don't have to feel "ashamed" of my V-Star. I always feel like I have to say its my starter bike, which I did only learn 3 years ago. But seeing/reading about your upbringing and that you are on a V-Star and rocking it, gives me peace. Mine is a 650 and maybe I'll want a bigger engine at some point, but for now it suits my needs. What V-Star do you have?
I took off for the road life in 2013 and lived on a motorcycle for nearly 3 years while traveling through 36 states. Later, my husband and I bought a toy hauler and began fulltime RVing. In 2019, I bought a Chevy Suburban and converted it into an overland camper. Now, I spend half the year traveling solo across North America, and the other half with my husband.
Great pics...thanks for sharing.
